Beat the backlist 2018

Made by Austine from KnovelKnigh

So here it goes, normally I post in dutch but because this is a sign up post for this challenge and the sit is in English I decided to post this one in English too. So what is Beat the Backlist? It’s a challenge where you read books released prior to 2018. This doesn’t mean I wont be reading any new books they just won’t count for this challenge. This challenge will run from January 1st until December 31!

For me it’s a good way to get rid of some books on my TBR that have been there way to long! Because I’m really bad at keeping myself pinned down with a TBR I will list a couple of books I will be reading for this challenge but not all. I want to read at least 35 books and of course it would be wonderful if I read more. But I don’t want to aim to high because you never know when a reading slump wil hit you! So a couple of books I really want to read this year are:

  1. Made you up by Francesca Zappia
  2. Illuminea and Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
  3. Wintersong by S.Jae Jones
  4. HIM & US by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy
  5. Lockwood & co book three and four
  6. That inevetable victorian thing
  7. The silent companions
  8. The rest of The lux series

That’s it for now these are the books I really want to read this year. The rest I’ll decide along the way.

I know I’ll be added to a team so once I know which team I’m on I’ll post it here. You can earn points for reading books and there is a fun Instagram challenge I’ll try to participate in! So wish me luck with this one!

So my team is!

  1. I’ve been thinking about joining this challenge as well because I’ve got some serious issues with my TBR hahahaha. So many 2017 releases and even 2016 releases as well, that I still haven’t read but really want to. Maybe joining a challenge will keep me motivated to succeed in finishing more of them!

Hope you’ll succeed with your challenge!
I’m very curious to see what you’ll think of Wintersong, it’s become one of my all-time favorites <3 And of course..
